The diseases that involve the heart or blood vessels are called cardiovascular disorders.

 

These diseases have similar causes mechanisms and treatment

 

Atherosclerosis:

 

It is the diseases of arteries.these disease also lead the heart disease.it is commonly referred to as a narrowing of artries.it is a chronic disease it is very dangerous for the human heart when this condition is severe arteries no longer expand and contract properly and blood moves through them with difficulty. 

 

Accumulation of cholesterol is the prime contributor to atherosclerosis. It result in the formation of multiple deposits called plaques within arteries plaques can form blood clots called thrombus  within arteries 

 

It is a general term describing any hardening of arteries. It occurs when calcium is deposited in the walls of arteries.

 

Heart Attack or Myocardial infarction:

 

The term myocardial infarction is derived from myocardium and infraction . It is more commonly known as  a heart attack 

 

Occur:

 

It occurs when blood supply to a part of the heart is interrupted and leads to the death of the heart muscles. 

Causes:

Heart attack may be caused by blood clotting in coronary arteries. It is a medical emergency and the leading cause of death for both men and women all over the world. 

Symptoms: 

Severe pain in the chest is the most common symptom of heart attack  pain radiating most often to the left arm but may also radiate to the lower jaw, neck, right arm and back. 

Treatment: 

Immediate treatment for suspected acute myocardial infarction heart attack includes oxygen supply aspirin, and sublingual tablet of glyceryl trinitrate.most cases are treated with angioplasty  or bypass surgery

Symptoms of Atherosclerosis: 

 If you are a patience of atherosclerosis you have atherosclerosis in the arteries leading to your brain, you may have sudden numbness or weakness in your arms or legs difficulty speaking or slurred speech temporary loss of vision in one eye or drooping muscles in your face 

Treatment of Atherosclerosis:

2: Heart-healthy lifestyle change 

Heart-healthy living is important for preventing and treating atherosclerotic plaque buildup throughout your lifetime

 3: Greater amounts of weight loss can also improve blood pressure readings.

Limit how much alcohol you drink. 

Get enough good-quality sleep. The recommended amount for adults is 6to 9 hours of sleep a day.

4: Women should drink 2 drinks or less per day.

5: Manage stress.

6: Blood pressure medications. Drugs to lower blood pressure don’t help reverse atherosclerosis. Instead they prevent or treat complications related to the disease.
